SHOE AND TEXT BOOK DONATION AT ASHADAAN, 11th June, 2017

This is the principle behind everything we do at Debabrata Auro Foundation.

Shoes are basic essentials needed for any kid to go to school. Ever wondered, that lack of rain shoes could prevent a lot of underprivileged children from getting to school in monsoons? We donated 50 pairs of rain shoes to children at Ashadaan! 50 pairs of happy feet will now walk to school everyday without any worries!

Debabrata Auro Foundation donated 50 pairs of rain shoes and 1 set of class V text books to children at Ashadaan.

The DAF Foundation NGO was started in the memory of (Late) Dr. Debabrata Shome, a humanitarian extraordinaire and visionary. India has seen tremendous progress over the years in all aspects. Despite this, a vast majority of Indians still live below the poverty line and are not able to fulfil their basic needs for survival. Gender discrimination is prevalent in all social strata and access to good healthcare is wanting. The reasons for this state of India are plenty.
