Cyber Crime Awareness Initiative at Vesawa Marathi Medium School, Andheri West 2024
On August 31, 2024, a Cyber Crime Awareness Initiative was held at Vesawa Marathi Medium School, Andheri West, from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM. The session aimed to educate children about the risks associated with cybercrime and empower them with the knowledge necessary to navigate the digital world safely.The initiative began with a session that focused on various forms of cybercrime, including online bullying, identity theft, and cyber fraud. The discussion highlighted the root causes of these crimes and provided effective preventive measures to mitigate risks and safeguard personal information. Participants were also informed about available resources, helplines, and support services that could assist children and their families in reporting cybercrime incidents.An interactive dialogue followed, where participants were encouraged to ask questions, express concerns, and clarify misconceptions related to cybercrime and online safety.
