- On 27th May 2024, the Debabrata Auro Foundation with United Way Mumbai organised an Environmental awareness session aimed at instilling environmental awareness and knowledge among children living in the Vile Parle slum area.
- The session sought to empower children to become stewards of their environment and advocates for sustainable practices within their community through interactive discussions and engaging activities.
Objectives:
- Educated children about various environmental topics such as pollution, waste management, and biodiversity conservation.
- Raised awareness about the importance of preserving natural resources and protecting the environment for future generations.

The session successfully engaged 35 children from the Vile Parle Bhajiwadi slum area, significantly increasing their awareness and understanding of environmental issues.
