Tree Plantation Drive by Debabrata Auro Foundation – August 12, 2024

On August 12, 2024, the Debabrata Auro Foundation took a pivotal step towards environmental conservation by organising a tree plantation drive at Aarey Forest, Mumbai, as part of their ongoing CSR initiatives. This event, titled “Green Aarey: Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability,” aimed to enhance the green cover in the region and foster a sense of environmental stewardship within the community. The event saw enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and local residents, who collectively planted 30 saplings. This initiative not only contributed to the ecological balance of the area but also encouraged the community to take responsibility for maintaining and nurturing the environment.

The impact of this drive was immediate and visually evident, as the newly planted trees added to the verdant landscape of Aarey Forest.
