The Debabrata-Auro Foundation (DAF) embraced a commitment to a greener, healthier environment through a tree plantation initiative at Aarey Colony. The primary objective was to contribute to environmental sustainability and enhance the green cover in the region. - Tree Variety: A total of 28 trees were planted during the plantation drive, representing a diverse range of species. The selection included 6 Tulsi, 5 Guava, 5 Custard Apple, 2 Neem, 2 Kadipatta plants, 5 Cherry, 2 Kokam, and 1 Awala plant. This diversity not only adds aesthetic value but also promotes biodiversity in the area.
Tree Plantation Process:
- The plantation process involved careful planning and coordination to ensure the proper selection of tree species suitable for the local ecosystem.
