Tetanus Toxoid and Diptheria + Tetanus Vaccination & Painting Workshop
Children in the slums are highly prone to getting injuries due to the poor living conditions. Although #vaccination is cheap and easily provided for, there is a severe lack of awareness among the kids and their parents. Most of them do not end up receiving even the free and mandatory vaccines.
Alongwith Sona Sarovar Trust, we conducted a Tetanus Toxoid and Diptheria+Tetanus Vaccination for about 25 kids from Oshiwara Slums.
Thanks a lot to Dr. Sindhu for helping us and to all the brave kids who took the shots with a smile on their faces!
A painting workshop was also conducted with these kids on the same day and we were able to sell a few of these paintings. The money raised was given to the kids.
