Report on the Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp – 23rd November 2025

The Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp held on 23rd November 2025 at Malad (E) was jointly organised by the Debabrata Mitalee Auro Foundation (DAF) and The Esthetic Clinics to address the rising prevalence of fungal infections within the community. The camp aimed to provide timely diagnosis and improve access to dermatological care for individuals who may be at risk due to environmental and lifestyle conditions. Participants received detailed check-ups from expert dermatologists, who conducted on-the-spot examinations to ensure early detection and provide personalised consultations. Free medications were distributed to all diagnosed individuals, enabling immediate treatment and reducing the burden of untreated infections.

In addition to offering clinical support, the initiative placed significant emphasis on community education and awareness. Through guidance on hygiene practices, preventive measures, and long-term care, the camp empowered residents with knowledge to manage and prevent fungal infections. This initiative not only enhanced health outcomes by facilitating early intervention but also reinforced DAF’s commitment to addressing community health needs. The programme successfully improved awareness, provided expert care, and contributed to infection control within the Malad (E) community.
