Report on Police Station Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp
On 6th November 2025, the Debabrata Mitalee Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, organized a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at Sion Police Station. This initiative aimed to support the health needs of Police Officers and staff who are often exposed to conditions that increase the risk of fungal infections. During the camp, expert dermatologists conducted detailed medical examinations to detect infections at an early stage. Participants also received personalized consultations, where they were guided on symptoms, causes, treatment options, and preventive measures to manage and reduce fungal infections effectively.
In addition to medical assessments, free medicines were distributed to individuals diagnosed with fungal infections, ensuring timely and accessible treatment. The camp played a significant role in improving access to dermatological care for police personnel who may struggle to seek medical help due to demanding work schedules. By enhancing awareness, promoting early diagnosis, and providing expert guidance, the initiative contributed to better health outcomes and empowered participants with essential knowledge on maintaining hygiene and preventing future infections.
