Report on Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp – 12th June 2025

On 12th June 2025, the Debabrata Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, successfully organized a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at the BMC Chowki, Wadia Marg, Parel. This focused healthcare initiative was specially designed for BMC Safai Karamchari and other sanitation workers, aiming to address the heightened risk of fungal infections within this workforce. The camp offered free dermatological screenings by qualified experts, allowing early detection of infections. Each participant received personalized consultations where they were educated about symptoms, causes, and practical prevention methods. The event ensured that vulnerable workers had direct access to timely medical attention in a supportive and informative environment.

To enhance the impact of the camp, prescribed medications were distributed free of cost to all diagnosed individuals, ensuring effective treatment and recovery. Beyond addressing immediate medical concerns, the initiative significantly raised awareness about skin hygiene and preventive healthcare among attendees.
