Report on Beach Clean-up Initiative at Dadar Beach

On 26th April 2025, the Debabrata Auro Foundation, in collaboration with Project Mumbai, successfully conducted a Beach Clean-up Initiative at Dadar Beach from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community, who collectively worked to clean approximately 500 meters of the coastline. The collected waste was carefully segregated into categories such as plastic bags, bottles, and general waste to ensure proper recycling and disposal. Alongside the clean-up efforts, awareness campaigns were held to educate participants on the critical impact of waste management on marine ecosystems.

The initiative had a noticeable impact, leaving Dadar Beach visibly cleaner and highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship. Beyond the immediate clean-up, the event fostered a greater sense of responsibility towards sustainable practices among the participants. This collaboration between the Debabrata Auro Foundation and Project Mumbai emphasized the power of community-driven action in addressing environmental challenges and preserving the health of our coastal ecosystems.
