Introduction: 

  • On May 11th, 2024, the Debabrata Auro Foundation (DAF) conducted an educational project at Ambujwadi Shastri Nagar in Malad with the aim of promoting early childhood education and literacy among children. 
  • The project included the distribution of nursery rhyme books and a teaching session designed to engage and inspire young minds.

 

Teaching Session:

  • A teaching session was conducted to engage the children in interactive learning activities. The session included storytelling, rhyme recitation, and simple educational games designed to stimulate their cognitive development and creativity. 
  • These activities were aimed at making learning enjoyable and fostering a positive attitude towards education.

 

Distribution of Nursery Rhymes Books:

  • The foundation distributed “All in One Nursery Rhymes” books to 60 children. 
  • These books were carefully selected to provide children with entertaining and educational content, fostering their love for reading and learning. 
  • Along with the books, biscuits were distributed to the children, providing them with nourishment and energy to sustain their enthusiasm throughout the session.

  • The distribution of nursery rhyme books aimed to instil a love for reading from an early age, fostering literacy skills among the children. 
  • The teaching session provided an opportunity for interactive learning, sparking the children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for education.
