Police Station Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp Report – 18th September 2025
On 18th September 2025, the Debabrata Mitalee Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, successfully organised a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at the Matunga Police Station. The camp ran from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and was aimed at providing free dermatological consultations and treatment to police officers and staff who are often exposed to environments conducive to fungal infections. Expert dermatologists conducted thorough check-ups, diagnosing early symptoms and offering personalised guidance for treatment. This initiative ensured early detection and prompt medical intervention, addressing a commonly overlooked health concern among frontline personnel.
Participants benefited not only from expert medical consultations but also from the free distribution of prescribed medications tailored to their conditions. The camp also included awareness sessions on the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures related to fungal infections, equipping attendees with practical knowledge for future self-care. By offering accessible healthcare support and increasing awareness, the initiative contributed significantly to the overall well-being of the police personnel, reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare within the community.
