Objective:

• The primary goal of this project is to organize a tree plantation drive at Aarey Colony, Mumbai. 
• The project aims to enhance the green cover, promote environmental sustainability, and engage the local community in contributing to a healthier ecosystem.

Volunteer Involvement: 

• The volunteers actively participated in the tree plantation, displaying a strong commitment to fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the sustainability of the newly planted trees.
• 30 NSS Volunteers from Shri MMP Shah College
• 10 volunteers from the Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College

Impact:

• The tree plantation drive had a multi-faceted impact, contributing significantly to the immediate goal of increasing the green cover in Aarey Colony. 
• The initiative not only enhanced the environmental sustainability of the area but also fostered a sense of environmental stewardship within the community.
