Awareness Session on Menstrual Health and Hygiene Free Sanitary Napkins Distribution, 07th MAY 2023

Debabrata Auro Foundation has organized an awareness session on Menstrual Health and Hygiene in the tribal Village Vanicha Pada, Aarey Colony, Goregaon East.

The awareness session was on what is Menstrual Health and Hygiene. We asked about Myths and facts about MHH. We discussed menstruation and sanitation.

Post the MHH Awareness session, we distributed 20 free sanitary Napkins to the tribal women present at the awareness session. Till Date, through this MHH Awareness session, we Impacted 100 adolescent girls & women and gained Information about Menstrual Health and Hygiene. They got to know how to dispose of it using sanitary napkins. The age group of adolescent girls & women present at the event was 13 years to the 35-year group.
