Report: Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp for BMC Safai Karamchari

On 7th August 2025, Debabrata Mitalee Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, organized a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at BMC Chowki, Chinchpokli from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The camp was specifically aimed at BMC Safai Karamchari and other staff, addressing their heightened risk of fungal infections due to occupational exposure. The initiative offered free dermatological screenings, personalised consultations with expert dermatologists, and distribution of prescribed medicines. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, participants were educated on the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures for fungal infections, ensuring they received both immediate care and long-term guidance for maintaining skin health.

The camp successfully achieved its objectives of early detection, accessible healthcare, and expert-driven treatment for sanitation workers. Through this initiative, many participants benefited from timely diagnosis and received effective medication to aid recovery.
