Report: Mega Medical Camp at Goregaon Aarey Colony – A Community Health Initiative
On 27th July 2025, Debabrata Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, Premankur Foundation, Pehel Foundation, and Agilus Diagnostics, organised a successful Mega Medical Camp at Unit 13, Goregaon Aarey Colony. The event, held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, focused on delivering free medical services to underserved members of the community. With dermatological consultations led by Dr. Varad Saptarshi and Dr. Prachi, and routine diagnostic screenings provided by Agilus Diagnostics under the supervision of Susheel Mourya, the camp addressed a wide range of health concerns, especially skin issues and fungal infections. Alongside check-ups, beneficiaries received free medicines and essential health education to promote preventive care and personal hygiene.
The camp catered to approximately 200–250 beneficiaries, including 150 individuals who received specialised skin and fungal infection treatment and 50–100 who underwent routine health screenings. Organisers ensured a smooth flow of activities through proper venue arrangements, hygiene protocols, and support from volunteers and medical staff. Extensive outreach through community networks, social media, and local NGOs helped in raising awareness and encouraging pre-registration. Overall, the Mega Medical Camp marked a significant step toward improving health outcomes and fostering a culture of health consciousness among the local population.
