Report: Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp – Mankhurd Slum Community

On 26th June 2025, the Debabrata Auro Foundation, in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics, successfully organized a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at the Mankhurd Slum Community. The camp was held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and aimed to address the pressing issue of fungal infections among vulnerable residents. Community members received free dermatological examinations, one-on-one consultations with expert skin specialists, and medications for any diagnosed conditions. The initiative focused on early detection, timely treatment, and community-wide awareness of fungal infections, which are often exacerbated by environmental and lifestyle factors in underserved areas.

The camp saw active participation from local residents, who benefitted not only from the medical services provided but also from educational sessions on hygiene and prevention. This effort resulted in improved access to quality healthcare, early diagnosis of skin conditions, and better-informed individuals capable of maintaining healthier lifestyles.
