DAF NGO & TEC Fungal Check-up Camp at Shastri Nagar Slum, Cuffe Parade, 04/07/2024

On the 4th of July 2024, the Debabrata Auro Foundation (DAF) in collaboration with The Esthetic Clinics (TEC) organised a Fungal Infection Check-Up Camp at the Shastri Nagar slum in Cuffe Parade. The event, held to, aimed to provide comprehensive skin check-ups for the slum community, focusing on the early detection, treatment, and prevention of fungal infections. A total of 33 attendees benefited from the camp, receiving thorough medical check-ups conducted by trained dermatologists who ensured personalised attention and care for each individual.

Following the diagnoses, appropriate medicines were distributed based on the severity and type of fungal infections detected. This initiative successfully addressed the immediate health needs of the community, enhancing overall well-being through timely medical attention and medication. The success of this health camp was made possible by the dedicated efforts of medical professionals, volunteers, and all stakeholders involved. Such initiatives are crucial for promoting community health and well-being, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this noble cause.
