Education Empowerment: Stationery Distribution & Intoxication Awareness Drive-7/10/2023

The “Education Empowerment” project, a joint initiative by DAF NGO and TajSATS, has successfully made a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged slum children in Bhagat Singh Nagar, Mumbai.

The project had two primary objectives:

intoxication Awareness Session:

• Educating children about the harmful effects of intoxication.
• Creating awareness about the causes of intoxication.
• Informing children about preventive measures to avoid intoxication.
• Providing information on available treatments for addiction.

Stationery Distribution:

• Distributing free stationery supplies to empower slum children.
• Providing guidance on how to effectively use these supplies to enhance their school performance.
• The stationary kits were sponsored by Tajsats.

Community Impact:

• The project aimed to promote a positive attitude towards education and learning within the slum community.
• It sought to elevate the educational skills and opportunities of the children and contribute to an improved standard of living.
• Furthermore, it aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility among the participants, encouraging them to share knowledge and promote education in their community.
