Objective: 

• The Tree Plantation Drive conducted on November 24, 2023, in Aarey Colony aimed to contribute to environmental sustainability and promote a greener, healthier community. 
• The goal was to plant trees and raise awareness about the importance of preserving and enhancing the natural environment.

Activities :

• Successfully planted a total of 21 trees in designated areas within Aarey Colony.
• Plant varieties included jamun, Ashoka, jackfruit, kokum, guava, assorted flowers, and several other indigenous plants.
• Prepared organic khad (manure) from cow dung and wood ashes to enrich the soil during the tree plantation.
• Implemented sustainable practices to ensure the long-term health and growth of the planted trees.

• Diversified the plant species to contribute to increased biodiversity within the Aarey Colony.
• Encouraged the adoption of eco-friendly practices like using organic manure for tree growth.
