Help for daily wage workers during COVID 19 Lockdown in India
15 more #Dailywage labourer families were helped by #DebabrataAuroFoundation in Virar East with food supplies during the #Lockdown.
The DAF Foundation NGO was started in the memory of (Late) Dr. Debabrata Shome, a humanitarian extraordinaire and visionary. India has seen tremendous progress over the years in all aspects. Despite this, a vast majority of Indians still live below the poverty line and are not able to fulfil their basic needs for survival. Gender discrimination is prevalent in all social strata and access to good healthcare is wanting. The reasons for this state of India are plenty.
