Donation of bus fee
Maharashtra government takes care of school fee for girl students however the other deterrent that prevents them from going to school is Bus fare. We support the bus fare of one such girl who is a daughter of a daily wage worker so that it enables her to goto school and prevents her from dropping out of school.
The DAF Foundation NGO was started in the memory of (Late) Dr. Debabrata Shome, a humanitarian extraordinaire and visionary. India has seen tremendous progress over the years in all aspects. Despite this, a vast majority of Indians still live below the poverty line and are not able to fulfil their basic needs for survival. Gender discrimination is prevalent in all social strata and access to good healthcare is wanting. The reasons for this state of India are plenty.
