BOOK DONATION DRIVE- BALNIKETAN VIDYALAYA, AIROLI 29TH APRIL, 2018
Sometimes just a little bit of effort is enough to fill the day with positivity. We at Debabrata Auro Foundation started a book donation drive 6 months ago and the response was heartening. Our friends and colleagues donated wholeheartedly and we ended up with more than 500 books in 6 months. Some of these were brand new. Some even sent them by courier all the way from New Delhi! It was a humbling experience to donate these books to set up a library for under 5 years of age kids studying at Balniketan Vidyalaya at Airoli. The twinkle in the eyes of these children on seeing the books was enough to lift our spirits. Kudos to the beautiful work being done by Dr. Ravikumar from Freedom Foundation for the people living in the slums of Airoli. Thanks a ton Pushpa Aman Singh for connecting us.
